UX Manager
I discovered my passion for UX design while pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, where I realized I enjoyed designing websites more than coding them. This initial spark led me to an internship, where I tackled innovative projects and found myself gravitating toward user experience challenges. My true calling took shape when I played a key role in crafting two distinct design systems—an experience that solidified my fascination with the balance of creativity and structure that design systems offer.
That passion evolved into a leadership role at Alkami Technology, where I manage and own the Iris Design System. I work closely with a 10-person design team, setting standards and patterns to unify the user experience across platforms. Design systems represent the ideal convergence of innovation and consistency. Ultimately, my goal is to foster a culture where every user journey feels unified, every designer feels empowered, and every product is backed by a solid, adaptable design foundation.

As the Design Systems Manager and Head of Standards for Alkami’s white-label product, I oversee the end-to-end design and documentation of our web and native systems for the UX development team. I collaborate closely with mobile and web engineering to QA all design work, ensuring each component and user experience flows aligns with our standards. My responsibilities also include managing the theming framework, which empowers clients to customize the product to their own branding while maintaining flexibility and consistency across varied UI looks.
On a daily basis, I lead a team of 10 designers, guiding them to maintain a uniform experience that appears to be designed by a single hand. In addition to this cross-functional collaboration, I supervise a direct-report team of designers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring that our design vision is upheld throughout every aspect of the platform.

During my time at RealPage, I collaborated with a team of designers to develop two distinct design system libraries—one for B2B products and another for B2C. Each library had its own style, ensuring the right look and feel for different audiences. We documented both systems thoroughly for developers and created a dedicated design portal, providing clear guidelines and best practices for designers and developers alike. Beyond building these systems, I leveraged them to create user experiences for RealPage’s business and consumer property management platforms, maintaining a cohesive and user-friendly design across all product lines.
